Tabs Bar:
Tap this icon to open the Bible Tab. This tab provides access to the Bible text, allowing you to read and study scripture. You can navigate through different books, chapters, and verses.
Tap this icon to open the Dictionaries Tab. This tab offers access to biblical dictionaries, enabling you to look up definitions, meanings, and explanations of terms, names, and concepts found in the Bible.
Tap this icon to open the Commentaries Tab. This tab contains biblical commentaries, providing insights, interpretations, and explanations of scripture from scholars and theologians.
Tap this icon to open the Books Tab. This tab allows you to access additional books or resources related to biblical studies, such as theological works, historical texts, or study guides.
Tap this icon to open the Notes Tab. This tab is for personal note-taking. You can write, save, and organize your own notes, reflections, or study observations.
Tap this icon to open the Bible Search Tab. This tab provides a search functionality to quickly find specific verses, keywords, or phrases within the Bible.
Tap this icon to open the Map Tab. This tab includes biblical maps, helping you visualize geographical locations, journeys, and events mentioned in the Bible.
Tap this icon to open Panel Settings.

Tap the icon again to open the "Select Book/Bible" popover for the current tab.

Manage Tabs:
This will open a popover that allows you to customize which tabs are visible or active in the app interface.

Panel Settings:
This will open a popover that allows you to customize panel. It includes 4 pages
Main: This screen is the Panel Settings menu, which allows you to customize the behavior and appearance of the panel.
Full Screen Mode: Enable this option to display the current panel in full screen, maximizing your workspace for better focus and readability.
Double tap with two fingers on any panel to extend it to full screen. Double tap again to restore it to the default size.
Hide Toolbars: Toggle this setting to hide toolbars, providing a cleaner and more distraction-free interface.
Downloads: Access the download manager to view and manage your downloaded modules and resources.
Help: Access the help section for guidance on using the app, troubleshooting, and frequently asked questions.

Tabs: This will open a popover that allows you to customize which tabs are visible or active in the app interface. The same as

Link: This screen allows you to configure how the panel responds to events triggered by user interactions, such as clicking on a verse, dictionary word, or search result. Below is a description of each setting:
Link Commentary: If enabled, tapping on a verse will automatically open the commentary for that verse in this panel.
Link Dictionary: If enabled, tapping on a dictionary word or Strong's number will display the corresponding entry in the Dictionary tab of this panel.
Link Bible: If enabled, opening a verse reference will display the verse in the Bible tab of this panel.
Link Search: If enabled, search results will be displayed in this panel, making it easier to view and navigate through the results.
Auto Tab Selections: If enabled, the app will automatically open the Bible, Commentary or Dictionary tab when a relevant event (e.g., clicking on a verse or dictionary word) occurs.
Auto Open Book with Entry: If enabled, the app will automatically select the first book that contains an entry for the current event (e.g., a verse or dictionary word).

This indicator   will appear on the tab when it is linked to an event, as described above. See it in the image above

BG Color: Background color settings, allowing you to customize the Panel's appearance for better readability or personal preference.

Panel Toolbar


Previous Topic or Chapter
Use this arrow to open the verse/topic selection
Use the text field to quickly search for Bible reference or book topics. In the Bible module, it also allows you to fast-search within the current chapter for specific content.
Next Topic or Chapter
In the Bible Panel, this icon opens the bookmark popover.
In Other Panels, it bookmarks the current topic. Long-press the icon to open the bookmark popover.
In the Bible Panel, this icon opens the seacrh popover.

Panel Menu
This menu is specific to the functionality of each panel.

Bible Menu:

  • Book Headers List: Displays a list of all bible paragraph titles in the Bible for quick navigation.
  • Compare in Rows: Compares the current chapter from multiple Bible versions side-by-side in a row format.
  • Compare in Columns: Compares the current chapter from multiple Bible versions side-by-side in a column format.
  • Two Columns Mode: Display the bible text in two columns.
  • Bible Settings: Accesses a menu to adjust settings
  • Bookmarks: Open the bookmark popover.
  • Share/Print: Allows you to hare the current selected text or chapter via various channels or print it for offline access.


Search Menu:

  • Search History: Displays a slider with your recent search history.
  • Clear Search History: Removes all saved search history.
  • Share/Print: Allows you to share the current search result via various channels or print it for offline access.


Other Panels Menu:

  • Bookmarks: Open the bookmark popover.
  • Share/Print: Allows you to share the current search result via various channels or print it for offline access.

Target Panel Indicator
This indicator appears on the tab when it is linked to an event, helping you quickly identify active connections.

Resize Panel Handle
Use this handle to adjust the panel size by dragging it. Double-tap the handle to reset the panel to its default size.

Verse Menu
Press and Hold Tap on a Bible verse number to open the action menu.

Verse Menu Items:
Add or edit a personal note for the selected Bible verse. This allows you to save your thoughts, reflections, or insights related to the verse.
Bookmark the selected verse for quick access later. This helps you easily return to important verses without searching for them again.
Copy the selected verse text to your device's clipboard. You can then paste it into another app, document, or message.
Compare the selected verse across different Bible translations or versions. This feature helps you understand the verse better by viewing it in multiple contexts.
Open the search dialog to look up specific words or phrases in the Bible. This feature is designed to help you conduct deeper studies and gain a better understanding of the text by quickly locating relevant verses.
Highlight the selected verse or specific words in the text. You can choose different colors to categorize or emphasize important passages.
Begin selecting a portion of the text (e.g., a word, phrase, or multiple verses) for further actions like copying, highlighting, or adding notes.

Slider Panel Handle
Press or drag this handle to the left to open the slider panel. Each panel type includes a slider that offers additional options and functionality tailored to that panel.

Top Bar Slider Handle
Press or drag this handle down to open the top bar slider panel.
Top Bar Slider Items:
Tap this icon to save the current layout and settings. This allows you to preserve your preferred workspace configuration and quickly restore it later.
Tap this icon to activate Reading Mode. This mode is designed to enhance your reading experience by minimizing distractions. When enabled, only the first panel is displayed, allowing you to concentrate fully on your study or reading material.
Tap this icon to open the Files menu. From here, you can navigate to the YW Bible Study document folder, import modules saved in any location accessible by the Files app, and back up or restore your user documents (such as personal notes, verse notes, and highlights ) to any location supported by the Files app.
Tap this icon to open the Main App Settings popover. Here, you can customize various app preferences, such as themes, font sizes, language settings, and other display options to tailor the app to your needs.
Tap this icon to change the current app layout. You can switch between different layouts, such as split-screen or multi-panel views, to suit your study or reading preferences.
Tap this icon to open the Download Manager. From here, you can view, manage, and organize your downloaded files, such as Bible translations, commentaries, or dictionaries. You can also start new downloads directly from this section.
Common Gestures
Pinch Gesture Pinch to zoom in or out. You can enable or disable this feature in Settings > General.
Double Tap Double tap with two fingers on any panel to extend it to full screen. Double tap again to restore it to the default size.
Double Tap Double tap in the Bible panel to enable verse selection.

Bible Text Selection


Press and Hold Tap on a Bible verse number to open the action menu, then select Highlight or Start Selection.

Press and Hold In Panel: double tap word and drag to start selection.

Bookmark the current topic.
To bookmark a Bible verse: tap the verse number > tap Bookmark from the action menu.
